Project: Edge 64 Skate Park

Dates of Execution: August 2005

Client: Back to the Bible

Project Summary: This 20,000 square foot space includes a performance stage, coffee shop, full commercial kitchen, indoor skate park, video arcade, and eight executive offices.

Self Analysis: Overall, the project has fulfilled every goal.  The place is always full of kids.  They are loud, crazy, and having fun in an environment that is relatively safe and supervised.  When asking the staff if the facility functions well, they express complete satisfaction with the building.

Results/Personal Information: After five or six design schemes into the project, I thought we were done with design development.  Even after having started construction, significant changes continued throughout the project.  Despite this ongoing evolution, everyone involved managed to keep their cool - which is considered to be an important virtue among my fellow Christians working together on this project.  We were committed to a common ideology - to provide alternative activities for youth that are positive and encouraging.
